Originating in 2016 on PC before branching out to PlayStation 4, Killing Floor 2 is an attempt to capitalize and expand on the popularity of Call of Duty's off the wall Zombies mode. For Killing Floor 2, it's also a test of a new set of servers, as the game's previous PC release on Steam integrated Valve's networking tools and other features exclusive to the platform.
